A Look Back on my 2022:
If I were to describe 2022 in one word, it would be Calm. This is the year where I learned how to calm down and not be pressured by anything else. Calm down on pursuing the goals, achieving growth and progress. Calm down on my own journey and not compare it with others. I became self-aware and self-reliant on my own happiness this year. I still have my bad days but I accept them now calmly because they're supposed to be there. To be more alive, I guess? Overall, I wouldn't say 2022 is great or awesome or worse. But I just think that is what a year is supposed to be, Calm.
As a look back on 2022, here are my year-end reflection lists:
Habits I shall (or any obligatory word) quit by next year:
Not replying back to friends
Not waking up on time (6:30am will be my new alarm set as a punishment) and oversleeping
Binging too much TV
Saying NO to friends/family
Impulsive buying
Being hot-headed when it comes to certain situations (IDK how to explain this but some people keep testing my patience)
Not asking for HELP
Not asking questions
Doomscrolling. Consuming too much social media.
I will continue, Oh my God, to do all these actions, for the love of me:
READ. Just read more books, articles, essays, etc. Educate yourself.
Spend quality time with family (treat them once in a while)
Same with friends (meet old friends)
Walk. Jog. Exercise. Beat that Move goal challenges.
Dentist appointments twice a year
WRITE! Write your thoughts, your feelings, your frustrations, what you love, etc. Just write to unload those emotions and heal on your own.
Watch documentaries.
Cook and prepare your food.
Embroidery! Finish once your start a piece.
Make art. Draw, sketch, paint, watercolor, make a video, and write a poem. Explore your artistry.
Clean your room once a month.
Be there for people but have boundaries.
Travel and visit new places.
Be curious.
Things I'm grateful for:
Family - I get to spend more time with them this year. Even though we're a family who doesn't talk about personal stuff, I think just being in their presence means so much to me.
Friends - 2022 is the year of meeting with a lot of my close friends. and meeting new ones. My relationship with them is low maintenance where we don't need to chat constantly but hanging out with them once in a while just puts me in a happy state.
Sidelines - I'm so thankful for the clients who trusted me this year. Not to mention, they're the reason I was able to save money. I hope this will continue and grow in the coming year. I'm ready for more side projects.
Travel - This year is my most traveled year so far. I went to Tagaytay, Boracay, Baguio, Bulacan, Laguna, and Pampanga. I went Hiking in Rizal (with complete strangers). And finally visited the National Museum of Natural History with friends. I'm excited about the places I will visit come 2023, I wish I can finally travel abroad which is not work-related, Thailand or Taiwan is my top priority to visit with my budget.
Experiences - Of course, 2022 is memorable for the experiences it brought me. I went to a concert of All Time Low which is one of my favorite bands growing up. It was a very surreal experience. I finally watched a musical last November, it's called We Will Rock You, and a homage to Queen songs, which are some of the best songs for me. More musical experiences for next year, please! Lastly, when I went to Leni-Kiko Rally. It was my proudest moment as a Filipino to be there. I was just merely attending their rally, but it made me hopeful for the country. Makes me think of what could've been if she won the presidency. I know PH is going downhill now, but I hope for a better 2023 for us.
Love/Dating - This has been so idle this year. But still grateful for the learnings it gave me. I only dated one person and it didn't go well because *insert anti-hero by Taylor Swift*. I realized dating requires too much effort and I feel like I want to accomplish more before being in a commitment with another person. But I still want it. I crave it. It's just that I'm not willing to work for it. So that's what I will be doing in 2023. Work for the love I deserve.
That ends my 2022. It wasn't as grand as the others but for me, It's the best year. I really liked it. No, I loved it. Thank you, 2022. Now, I'm looking forward to new experiences, explorations, and self-discoveries. I already know 2023 will be just as calm as this year. Happy new year, everyone! Let's fucking gooooo!

I guess I'm making this post to make me feel better about the current political situation in the Philippines. I want you all to know that I proudly voted for Leni Robredo and Kiko Pangilingan as President and Vice President last May 9, 2022, and by the numbers it looks like Bongbong Marcos, the son of the dictator Ferdinand Marcos will become the next president of this country. Personally and professionally, I knew how the elections would go because Filipinos, in all honesty, are not educated voters. Only a handful are, and they have exploited the poor through vote buying. It seems people will only ever vote for you if you're well-known, "well-mannered" and a man. This country does not care about credentials, although HRs and job offers here will beg to differ.
For me, as a Filipino and a second time voter, the elections for broken democracies like the Philippines needed both the voters and politicians to know the nuances of how this country works and be at the height of knowing the implications of our history and politics before they can vote. I had been on this earth and godforsaken country for 24 years and people always voted like this. My parents, who always sided with the best choice of presidential candidates and politicians, never saw their good presidential bet win. Now Robredo, our "Liwanag sa Dilim" and Beacon of Hope, did not win because the other camp views us supporters as elitists and privileged for supporting and voting for her.
We needed Robredo and Pangilingan for the development of the Philippines. And other voters voted based on their opinions and feelings. Feelings won't feed you, it won't clothe you or give you a job, feelings won't shelter you. Even if it did, you are probably working for the Marcoses and Dutertes' troll farms and disinformation and misinformation machinery. Most Filipinos do not like hearing about facts and the truth, let alone be educated in the Philippine history. Martial Law is a fact. Martial Law is a part of Philippine history. And they would rather believe in fake news and misinformation? Shame on you.
Also, about Filipino artists and creatives. I beg of you, please do not stop commissioning Filipino artists because of our elections. We are not the US, you're not in any danger because we are not a big country. I honestly cannot relate to Filipino artists who commission because I opened my comms twice before and got zero comms, but please continue to support them. Filipino artists and creatives need the money just in case this country gets worse.

Been a while. Sabi ko pa naman last year lagi na ako mag-update dito kaso bigla na lang ako nawala pala. Hahahaha. Eto na naman ako, nagbabalik. Chika ko lang mga ganap ko last year
Tumblr media
I finish the Accelerator Program in TOA. Kahit resign na resign na ako ngayon, looking back, grabe talaga ang naging effect sa akin ng TOA. Life changing step. I gain friends.
Tumblr media
Having this people by my side made it easier to survive night shift work life. Hanggang di na lang work life, pati personal life napagaan nila.
Tumblr media
Since I gain back my social skills, I join the voluntary group for Leni-Kiko Campaign. Grabe rin effect sa akin nito. It made me do the things I didn't know I can do. Natuto ako makipag-usap sa mga di ko kakilala. Ipaglaban ang alam ko na tama. I learn to speak up. I learn to fight for other people. Nakakita ako ng hope for a brighter future kaya I really fight hard.
Hahahahahaha! Best buy of the year - my dream Converse shoes at ang Instax Mini Evo huhu.
Syempre unang gig after more than 2 years, Munimuni pa rin. Tapos nasundan na ng mga free ganap haha. Ngayon year, goal ko maka-1 gig or con per month. Hihi
Tumblr media
One thing I love the most this year e I spent more time with family and friends. I am so done of hiding and spending time alone, crying. I found the joy of living again. I know 2022 is not my best year yet but this is definitely one of the greatest. Siguro pwede ko to tawagin na comeback year. :)
I'm scared for what this year will bring me pero I'm also looking forward to it.

doon tayo sa mga taong katulad natin; yung simple lang at lumalaban ng patas.
huwag mag-papauto sa taong mapagpanggap.
May I ask why we shouldn't vote for Marcos? Is there any particular traits you are looking for in a President? And can you also tell us what made you want to vote for Leni? /gen /srs
Why we shouldn't vote for Marcos:
A total debt of $395.51 Billion foreign aid that is still taxed for until now. There was a 4300% rise in debt from 1965-1986. Besides building bridges, Marcos constructed in 1976 the overpriced Bataan nuclear power plant worth $2.3 Billion and loans which the Filipinos' tax had only finished paying in full on 2007.
Marcos stole P3.363 trillion if rates are applied to the year 2015, official poverty incidence rate increased to almost half of the Philippines, underemployment rate rose from 10% to 33% in 1985. PH debt grew by $16 Billion in just 5 years.
About 34000 were tortured, 70000 were detained for being "enemies of the state", 3240 were salvaged or killed during Martial Law.
The PCGG recovered a total of P167.5 Billion from Marcos ill-gotten wealth. Kung wala ninakaw, walang ibabalik.
Imelda Marcos is guilty of 7 counts of graft but not imprisoned because of old age.
There are three FINAL supreme court decisions na nagsasabi nakaw na yaman ng Marcos ang mafo-forfeit. Here are the links:
https://elibrary.judiciary.gov.ph/thebookshelf/showdocs/1/48708?fbclid=IwAR3EN3lOlaChqDn-F8mL4fDjRDULHSQpS7144Ip4Plq1xfwl-uyF1aSMFfQ

Si Bongbong Marcos ang makakapag mana lahat ng nakaw na yaman ng tatay niya, he is claiming na graduate siya sa Oxford pero Special Diploma lang ang binigay. May statement na ang Oxford regarding that, saying na he is not a full graduate. He was already an adult during Martial Law but hinayaan nila lang na sirain ng tatay niya ang bansa.
What made me vote for Leni Robredo:
1. VP Leni Robredo has been releasing her SALN for years now and making the document public. She is not corrupt. OVP received the highest COA rating thrice.
2. She is a human rights lawyer and an economist. Her educational attainment is enough to prove that she is capable of leading the country. She has a doctorate degree in Humanities, Public Administration and Doctor of Laws - the highest earned academic degree.
3. Leni Robredo received a Special Awardee for Public Service.
4. She is present and has done a lot of COVID-19 response. During the lockdown, she initiated to provide vehicle services to frontliners and more. For more infographics, see this: https://www.facebook.com/rapvinsky/posts/4718605388172019
She is the only presidential candidate who has the least net worth. She is not corrupt as seen by the statement from COA. I'm voting her because she is transparent and she is doing great in her job by serving the Filipino people. She apologizes when she makes a mistake and she is always present. She is the true definition of a leader. Her platform when she becomes a president is focused on recovering our economy and we can trust her with that because she's a graduate of BA Economics in UP Diliman.
She plans to reopen the economy by realigning the national budget to address the pandemic, allotting more funds for healthcare services & facilities, to empower the healthcare system & to invest heavily in agriculture, particularly in technology and farm-to-market infrastructure. She plans to create more jobs to bring back foreign direct investments, which have been in a steady decline during Duterte’s term. This year, annual FDI dropped by 24.6%, the lowest in five years. To make that happen, her priority is to make sure that pandemic is under control.
This post is long but these are facts I obtained from the internet with credible sources like news media and articles. I hope you vote Leni Robredo.

sending strength to all filipinos reading this. we are in a very dark time and we absolutely do not deserve this trauma we're collectively experiencing because of the current presidential elections.
i was only 16 when president rodrigo duterte was elected. i witnessed news of people being killed by police numbering in the thousands. i was also 17 when i read about kian's death at the hands of policemen who planted a gun on his corpse and claimed he was a drug carrier.
in 2018 i entered university full of excitement and hope and a drive to change the nation for the better. i only experienced 2 and a half years of being on-campus when the covid pandemic struck. now, i'm supposed to be graduating and the government's current pandemic response has not allowed face-to-face classes.
6 years is a terribly, terribly long time.
in these past few months with the Leni-Kiko campaign, i have felt hope for the first time in a long time. i could see that this country was indeed desperate for change and the collective action across different sectors of our society. and then, i felt that hope dashed last night with the announcement of the unofficial vote count.
i won't discourage you from feeling all the grief and anxiety you need to feel. but in these coming days, we have to pick ourselves back up.
the marcos family's return without any sense of apology is not honorable. their manipulation of fake news to clear their name and rewrite history is not honorable. bongbong marcos being permitted to run as a presidential candidate is not honorable. the handling of the voting process yesterday is not honorable.
the way they spit on our democracy is not honorable.
it's time for us to rise up again because the power has always been with the people. we absolutely have to fight for it.
on behalf of the people killed during martial law. on behalf of the people killed under the duterte regime. on behalf of the student-activists, farmers, laborers, fisherfolk, environmentalists, artists, journalists, and urban poor who are the most vulnerable targets if a marcos presidency comes.
we have up-ended a marcos presidency before and we can do it again.
if need be, see you all in EDSA

will maybe add some helpful informative links later

I rarely post anything original (or political) on Tumblr, but this is one of those moments where I can't sit by.
----------
The people of the Philippines need international coverage now more than ever. We're at the risk of letting the son of a dictator sit at the president's seat. We're at the risk of another Ferdinand Marcos (Jr.; nicknamed BongBong Marcos/BBM) Ferdinand Marcos Sr., the dictator that declared Martial Law, which caused 3,000+ deaths, 34,000+ tortured (in so many different horrific ways), 70,000+ to be imprisoned, and hundreds of billions of pesos* to be plundered for their greed.
(Pesos = PH currency)
It would have been very different if the son acknowledged and denounced the crimes his father had done to our people. It would have been different if he paid his estate tax (203B afaik). But he hasn't. He refuses to acknowledge these things. And so we risk history revisionism. We can't allow our history to be changed to suit these people's desire.
The dictator has been dead many years already. But his mother still pulls the strings. His mother, Imelda Marcos, who has over 3,000+ pairs of expensive shoes, who so badly wanted to have an animal "oasis" that she had her husband's military force a village of 450+ families to leave so that she could use that land for the animals. (Which, by the way, they shouldn't even be there. Those animals were bought with a portion of the Marcos' ill-gotten wealth)
The Marcoses fled with their ill-gotten wealth when the people of the Philippines finally decided to fight back during the EDSA People Power Revolution in 1986. They were exiled to Hawaii. They were permitted to return to the Philippines in 1991 by then-President Corazon Aquino so that they may face the charges being placed against them. Marcos Sr. died in 1989, before the family was permitted to return.
Imelda unsuccessfully ran for president a year after returning, but lost (thankfully). But her children BBM and Imee Marcos both won seats in the House of Representatives. Then later they would both win seats in the Senate. Bear in mind, neither of these children ever denounced their parents' evil doings. They always called for fake news.
And now, more than two decades later, we're at the risk of Marcos Jr. becoming president. The elections are being rigged as his sister, Imee, is the current Chairperson of COMELEC*. The appointees of COMELEC right now are all appointed by current President Rodrigo Duterte, whose daughter, Sara Duterte, is running for Vice President under the same camp as BBM. Yet another political dynasty.
(COMELEC = Commission of Elections)
They're apparently "done counting" over 80% of the votes when, oh-so-coincidentally, there are hundreds of voting machines that are apparently malfunctioning, so many missing/broken SD cards, and vote buying. Not to mention the hundreds of people in multiple precincts that still haven't even voted (I could be wrong as of now, since I'm posting this a day late)
As I type this, tens of thousands of my people prepare to march once again in protest against these rigged decisions. They're being red-tagged* as terrorists, even though people are peacefully walking, standing for what's right.
(Red-tagged = being identified/tagged and put under a terrorist watch-list)
Please. If you can, spread this message to as many places as you can. We're all still fighting so hard to prevent this from happening. We need the Leni Robredo-Kiko Pangilingan camp to win. They're the only ones who can keep these two from winning. We're desperate.
Please.

On Monday—9th of May, 2022—I am voting for Leni Robredo to be the next President of the Republic of the Philippines, and for Kiko Pangilinan to be her Vice President.
This is genuinely the first time I don't feel like I'm supporting and settling for a "lesser evil" candidate.
I believe—with my whole dang heart—Leni and Kiko are the very best of the candidates. By far.
They are—honest-to-god, hand on heart—genuine public servants.
So I'm going to the voting precinct on Monday not only with a clear conscience, but also teeming with hope.
And whoever you're voting for on Monday, I do hope you're able to vote with as much certainty in your choice of candidates, and the ideals they stand for.

Election anxiety has caught up with me, and yes, I do avoid politics as much as possible on my anime social media, but to be honest having a dictator's son as a presidential candidate vs an economist-lawyer who's million years ahead in qualifications as MY president is something I didn't expect to be anxious with, but here we are.
And yes, I'm voting for Leni Robredo as President and Kiko Pangilinan as Vice-President.

BESTIE PWEDE BA AKONG MAG-REQUEST
I want Leni Robredo x Kiko Pangilinan friends to lovers >:))))
ICHACHANGE KO PLOT
kiko placed a hand on leni's shoulder. "leni... can we talk? i've been wanting to tell you something." leni smiled at him. "sure. what is it?" kiko turned away. "i know we're only political partners... but... BUT I REALLY LIKE YOU, LENI! ever since i set my eyes upon you in the vice presidential elections, i knew i was in love." leni faced him with an expression of first shock and then sadness. "i'm sorry, kiko. but i'm already in love with another." kiko's head hung and the room was filled with silence. he was disappointed, but he expected it. "it's alright, leni. can i ask who though?" now it was leni's turn to look away. she tried to push away a small smile, but it was still visible. "it's... it's bongbong." kiko's jaw dropped. "BONGBONG?! but he's your enemy! he stole fifty billion pesos from the filipino people!" she faced him. "kiko, you have to understand! even if he stole billions from our nation, it's okay because he's so handsome... the way he walks and the way he talks, and, and, everything about him! i'm in love." in the heat of their conversation, they didn't notice sara was listening all along.

My filo genshin friends changing their profiles to miko/diona and being pink is very wholesome
02 tw: PH Politics
On social media? Because yes!! I'm so happy to see the major universities and their students switch to a pink profile and frame! I have mine on Student Leaders for Leni-Kiko. It's practically a revolutionary movement now rather than a campaign! 💗
(for those who aren't aware, pink is the campaign color of a political party! It's the best party so far for human rights, women's rights, lgbtq, culture, environment etc.)
If you're talking about genshin profile though... I'mma go change mine to Diona temporarily, it's such a good idea! Like, it isn't that effective for awareness but maybe I can manifest something? hahahahah 😭
on another note, a lot of the genshin characters would definitely stand for the Leni-Kiko party. Empowering women, culture, education from scratch? YES. Fighting against a political dynasty and dictatorship?? YES YES. And there's the thing about hands-on leadership and compassion- 💕🥰💗💗
